This Blows

Blueprint Description[]

The sound of a rapidly deflating balloon is amusing... and rather embarrassing. In this challenge, the contestant must blow up a balloon and then use its escaping air to knock down plastic cups. This must be repeated until fifteen cups have been blown completely off the table.

Game Description:[]

Blow up a balloon and expel the air from it to knock cups off a table.

Set Up:[]

Set up 15 cups in a horizontal row. Place the balloons next to the first cup.

History[]

This is a multi-level challenge, having been played at levels 1 and 4, whereas in level 4, two contestants play as a team and must work together to blow off fifteen cups apiece, without moving each other's cups.

Balloons
15 cups
Long Table(see Horseplay, but don't slant the table)

Rules:[]

1. Prior to game start, contestant stands in designated start zone with hands at sides.

2. Once game begins, contestant may grab a balloon and start inflating it.

3. Contestant must play game from designated side of table.

4. Contestant may only knock a cup off the table by using the air from the balloon.

5. Contestant may not use table to compress air from a balloon.

6. If contestant bangs on table or makes any contact with a cup using either the balloon or their body the game is over.

7. Contestant may switch out balloon for another balloon at any time. Contestant may only use one balloon at a time.

8. To complete the game, the contestant must knock all cups off the table using only air from the balloon within the 60-second time limit.

Tips & Tricks[]

Stretching the balloon out before using it makes it easier to blow the balloon up and inflate. Sometimes it may be easier to inflate only a little bit and knock down one cup at a time instead of blowing the balloon up fully.
